Amazing Eagle Figurine

This is an extremely nice figurine of an eagle either made for the American market or even by a US maker likely in the late 19th century. I ahve never seen this model before and the added gold metal trim to the base is permanently attached to the porcelain so I cannot look for a possible maker's mark. What I do know is that is is the nicest eagle figure I have come across in my years of collecting. It is superbly modeled with the wings stretched out standing on a rocky base with an old gnarly tree trunk on the side. Tons of detail and the parian unglazed porcelain means it did not get covered by glaze so it is all visible. The superbly made piece in combination with an amazing green marble base with gold trim make this one of the neatest pieces I have seen in a long while! Just stunning. A rather large figurine being 10.625 inches tall, 14.25 inches wide and 6.5 inches deep. The base has a diameter of 5.125 inches. The piece is not visibly marked as to the maker. It has a small airhole underneath the butt. The bird is in great condition given the fragile nature of it. Two tips of the feathers on the wings have been damaged but it's not something that takes away from the piece at all. The base is in perfect condition and the green and gold coloration goes perfectly with the white of the porcelain! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
