Amstel Polychrome Scenic Saucer #1

This is a superb saucer made by Amstel in the early 19th century around 1809. It is hand painted with nice scene in the center of a building near some water in a landscape surrounding including two guys on the opposite shore looking at the building. A bit of gold trim to the edge. The saucer is in great condition with just some minimal wear and use marks. As good as it gets for this age! A very nice example and a very hard to find one for this rare maker. The piece is marked with the rarely used over glaze black script Amstel mark as well as an incised script R and A in different locations underneath. The piece is just over 1 inch tall and 5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
