Ansbach Cup & Saucer #2

This is a cup and saucer made by Ansbach around 1765. They started making porcelain around 1758 and the factory flourished from 1758 through 1777 after which it closed somewhere around 1860. The factory was already in private hands since 1807. The set is marked with the underglaze blue A over the shield mark underneath. The cup has a 5 impressed on the inside footring. Both pieces are handpainted with colorful flowers of good quality and they both have a relief basketweave design to the rim. The cup is 1.875 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. The saucer is a bit over 1 inch tall and 5 inches in diameter. The set is in good condition with the cup having some very small chips on the top rim. Please email me for more information or photos.
