Ansbach Rare Mark Floral Saucer

This is a nice saucer made by Ansbach around 1765. They started making porcelain around 1758 and the factory flourished from 1758 through 1777 after which it closed somewhere around 1860 after being in private hands since 1807. The saucer is nicely hand painted with a floral arrangement in the center as well as two single flowers and a few tiny leaves to hide some firing flaws. Basket weave design to the paste along the rim. The piece is marked with their early impressed shield mark which until now I had only seen on figures so this was a first for me. A nice example to own. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 5.5 inches in diameter. It is in great condition with a tiny bit of wear and a tight stable hairline to the rim as shown. It still rings like a bell so it's nothing to worry about. Please email me for more information or photos.
