Blanc De Chine Horse & Rider Figurine

This is a figurine made by Augarten in the 20th century. The white version of the more common painted examples. The figure is from the series of figures depicting different pieces of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna this one being called Pirouette. Super modeling and left in the white you can see al that amazing detail that the painting usually coverns up like the veins in the skin, etc. Hard to find the white examples in perfect condition as is the case here! The figure is 9.5 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and about 8.125 inches long. The piece is marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, impressed letter H, impressed 1668 and Made in Austria impressed. There is a line cut below the mark so it is a second choice piece though I do not know why. Please email me for more information or photos.
