Imari Design Bayeux Cup & Saucer

This is an interesting demitasse sized porcelain cup and saucer made by an unknown maker. I am thinking it might have been done by Bayeux in France but could also come from the Bohemian region of Eastern Europe. Definitely from the later 19th century. The cup and saucer are hand painted with an Imari style design in iron red, cobalt blue and gold. A bit too busy for my taste but my youngest loves it. There is also a ribbed design to the paste of both pieces. The cup is 2.125 inches tall with a diameter of 2.125 inches. The saucer is 0.75 inches tall and 3.875 inches in diameter. The well is recessed a bit sort of like a trembleuse saucer. Both pieces are in good condition with a touch of wear to the gilding mainly to the very edges and a larger brown firing spot to the inside of the cup. It's an interesting and unusual set! They are unmarked except for a red 29 under the saucer and a blue double line mark under the cup. Neither helps ID the maker. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
