Figural Blackamoor Pipe

This is a nice pipe made by an unknown maker but I'd guess in France in the late 19th century. It is nicely modeled as the head of a blackamoor with large golden earrings and a colorful ring where his neck would be. It is dirty on the inside but nothing cakes on really so should come clean if need be. It is in great condition with a bit of corrosion to the lid. There is a nice silver colored metal piece connecting the porcelain and the plastic part. Sadly the piece is unmarked but such is life :) It is about 5.5 inches long from end to end with the porcelain head being 1.25 inches deep, 1.125 inches wide and 2.125 inches tall including the lid. The top opening is about 0.75 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
