Boisette Figurine

This is a very rare figurine made by Boisette around 1780. There are only ten known painted figurines in the world! This maker was only around for about 15 years and not much is known about them. The figurine is of a lady and gentleman playing some music. She is holding a tambourine and he a guitar. Very well painted with some colorful rocks as the base. It is made of one solid piece of porcelain and thus quite heavy. In almost perfect condition with just two chipped leaves, one guitar string adjustor knocked off and a bit of the black paint to their shoes worn off. Amazing piece from one of the rarest makers. Marked underneath with the underglaze blue script B mark. It is 5.75 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 3 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $7499
