Bristol Floral Plate

This is a colorful Bristol plate from the Frank Arnold Collection, dating to around 1775. Typically decorated with flower swags suspended from the rim. This is an English hard paste porcelain dessert plate about 8 inches in diameter. The glaze shows pitting, not unusual for Bristol, but the decoration is still in good condition. There are two very faint hairlines from the rim which are hard to photograph. You might be able to make them out. All Bristol wares are quite rare. This is a piece owned by a good friend of mine.
