Carlsbad Yellow Rose Cup & Saucer

This is a neat porcelain cup and saucer made by Fishern (near Carlsbad) around 1850. In 1842 Carl Knoll started a factory here that around 1850 became a porcelain maker. It was in the Bohemia region and is now in Rybare. This cup and saucer is from their best and earliest period as they made more utility and hotel ware later on. It is in the shape of a yellow rose with the saucer forming the leaves. Copied from an earlier Meissen version that I also own. The piece is really of very good quality! The cup and saucer are in perfect condition. The cup is 1.75 inches tall and the top is 1.875 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.75 inches tall and 4.625 inches in diameter. The saucer is marked underneath with their impressed Carl Knoll over CARLSBAD mark as well as an impressed 55. The cup has a 34 underneath as the painters mark. Please email me for more information or photos.
