Floral Cup & Saucer

This is a rare cup and saucer made by Chantilly in mid 18th century. The set is made of soft paste porcelain and hand painted with polychrome floral arrangements and a light brown trim to the edge. The enamel colors are really nice and soft paste porcelain is always better than hard paste! Very typical colors and style of painting for this maker. Nice handle shape to the cup. The set is in great condition with a small shallow chip to the top rim of the cup as shown. Not obvious when on display at all and the set displays perfectly! Always rare to find a set by this maker which happens to be my favorite. Both pieces are marked underneath with the red hunting horn mark as shown. The saucer is 5.5 inches in diameter and 1.375 inches tall. The cup is 2.625 inches tall and has a top diameter of 2.875 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
