Floral Plate #8

This is a plate made by Chantilly in the 18th century. It is made of soft paste porcelain and hand painted with one large as well as three smaller floral arrangements in the well (Very much reminiscent of Sevres plates of the period). The rim has a basket weave design to the paste and a nicely shaped edge with a yellow trim. The plate is in superb condition with some very minor use marks, some minor firing imprefections and two tiny flat edge chips. It is marked underneath with the blue hunting horn mark as well as the letter C and an incised hunting horn mark I have not seen before. It is 9.625 inches in diameter and 1.125 inches tall. Price is $599
