Dragon Figurine

This is a fun figurine I know nothing about at all but had to have it anyway. It seems of a nicer quality than most I have seen and even though I usually stick to European porcelain I could not resist the little critter! I do not know if it was made in China or Japan nor when though with the minor surace wear to the underside I doubt it is over 100 years old. I cannot figure out if it is some sort of Foo Dog Dragon creature or a Wucai Feng Shui Wealth dragon or a Qilin / Kirin / Kylin dragon. And I am not even certain what type of ceramic / pottery he was made of since even the underside is colored and glazed though it does not appear to be porcelain. What I can see is that the quality of the details and painting are superb and it's not some el cheapo piece. But I am sure some collector knows exactly what it is and maybe will give me a little lecture on the piece which would be fun! The piece has a red seal mark as shown on the underside. The figure is 4.25 inches tall, 5.75 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. It is a stunning piece and quite a bit of fun to look at. In perfect condition wxcept one of those green beard pieces sticking out from the side of his head appears to have been reglued. Impossible to tell when on display! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
