Pirkenhammer Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer made by Pirkenhammer which is now located in the Czech Republic (as far as I know) around 1850. A Mr. Hoeke founded the factory around 1803 with the help of the Greiner family (from the Thuringia area). In about 1810 Christian Fischer & Reichenbach bought it and after 1845 Reichenbach was gone. They won a few very high prestige awards for their porcelain. After the 1840's the porcelain became more decorative and higher quality. The company is still around today which is a rare feat. The cup and saucer is handpainted with a nice floral decoration all around as well as some gold trim. Both pieces are marked with an impressed CF mark as well as some Roman numerals and regular numbers. The cup is 2.5 inches tall and 2.625 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 5.5 inches in diameter. They are in superb condition with a little wear to the gilding. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
