Blue Fluted Full Lace Plate

This is a second superb plate made by Royal Copenhagen in the late 18th century. It is also handpainted with an underglaze blue strawflower type design called blue fluted with the full lace rim meaning the rim has the reticulated edge. A very typical design for them but not often found from this time period. The piece has a ribbed relief design to it as well. The porcelain is still a bit greyish and the quality is much nicer than the new pieces one finds much more often. It has a certain charm the new ones are missing. The plate is in superb condition with a small shallow chip on the back edge that cannot be seen from the front and a small chip to the footring as well as a semi chip that never quite came off on the footring. There is a bit of wear to the clear glaze as well as some manufacturing flaws like small black spots. It is marked underneath with the three wavy blue lines as well as a blue number 7 (I think). The piece is just under 1.5 inches tall and has a diameter of 9.125 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
