Biscuit Girl w/Dog Figurine

This is a superb biscuit porcelain figurine made by Royal Copenhagen in the late 19th century. It is of a young girl snuggling her rather large dog. The girl is wearing a night gown and standing next to the dog while holding his collar. The dog is sitting on the plain round base. The figure is unglazed which shows off all that amazing detail that is often hidden by the glaze. Just stuning! The piece is in great condition with a tiny chip to the underside base and a larger one. The larger one I am showing from both views - underside and side. I could not find this model anywhere so it is definitely not a common one! The bottom of the base is marked with the wavy three blue linesand the back side has the word Eneret (I think it stands for Copyright) with the letter F. under it impressed as shown. The figurine is 6.125 inches tall with the base having a diameter of 4 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
