Hunter Figurine

This is a figurine of a lady and gentleman hunter made by Royal Copenhagen around 1900. It is one of the Juliane Marie pieces and is superbly modeled and painted. The couple is in their hunting outfits with their rifles, three dead game birds (holding one and two more hanging on the tree) and a dead deer by their feet. A nice tree in the background. This piece has lots of detail and amazingly it is in superb condition with only a few chipped leaves which are all towards the back and cannot be seen when on display. The figure is marked underneath with the underglaze three wavy blue lines with a crown on top, ES. 1006. in grey as well as an impressed number which is hard to make out - maybe Z13. The piece is 8.75 inches tall, 7.25 inches wide and 5.75 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
