Copenhagen Scenic Plaque

This is a porcelain plaque painted with a scene of a couple in a landscape background made by Royal Copenhagen in about 1785. These plaques are quite rare. Some nice small handpainted attached flowers around the top and a few flowers and bugs painted on the rim so it looks like a frame. It is very well executed and in good condition. Few chips to the small flowers, some wear to the gilding and a few small chips to the pink bow up top. The piece has two holes in the back to string it up to hang on the wall. Right by those holes it is marked with the three blue lines. The piece is 0.75 inches thick, 6 inches wide and 7.625 inches high. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $2499
