Flora Danica Plum Scene Plate

This is a superb plate made by Royal Copenhagen in 1959. It is part of their most famous service the Flora Danica or Danish Flowers service except this plate is painted with fruit in the center. One of the most famous services ever made. This piece is hand painted with a nice large branch in the center with its leaves and purple plums. The rim of the plate is one of the nicest types they made with the reticulation as well as the nice gold trim. The plate is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with their typical marks as shown including the three wavy blue lines in underglaze. The plate is just over 1 inch tall and just under 8.75 inches in diameter.
