Lady with Stroller & Baby Figurine

This is a figurine of a mother with a baby in a stroller next her made by Royal Copenhagen in 1944. These pieces are not easy to find and were designed by Bode Willumsen around the early 1940's I believe which is probably why they are so hard to find with the war going on and all. The figure reminds me more of Nymphenburg than Copenhagen. Nicely modeled and painted in over glaze colors rahter than their more usual under glaze ones. The lady is dressed in a typical attire for the period with handbag hanging of the stroller and the super cute baby lying awake inside. Nicely shaped base with a bit of a green trim all around. The figurine is in good condition with a chip to the edge of her hat as shown that was colored in and thus not obvious at all when on display. She displays perfectly! The figure is marked underneath with the three wavy blue lines as well as Denmark in green with a crown above it and the number 4137. A bar below the n in Denmark which dates it to 1944 I believe. Artist initals to the top back base as shown. The piece is 8.25 inches tall, 3.75 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep.
