Dallwitz Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer set made by Dallwitz of Bohemia in about 1835. Dallwitz was founded by Johann Ritter in 1804. Porcelain production started under Wolfgang Haslacher in 1830 and after 1844 only transfer decoration was used. The company merged with EPIAG in 1920. The cup and saucer is handpainted very nicely with flowers on a pink background with a nice gold trim. Both pieces are in great condition with very little wear to the gilding. The saucer is marked with the impressed Dallwitz as well as some numbers. The cup is marked with an impressed letter D as well as some numbers. The cup is 2.25 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 5.875 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.
