Very Rare Damm Porcelain Figure

This is a very rare figurine made by Damm . Normally they made their items out of a fine earthenware but they did experiment a bit with porcelain. So here we have one of their porcelain figurines. There are only about a dozen known to exist and never more than one of each model. So this is a one of a kind. The figurine represents winter and is nicely modeled but the colors are very subdued compared to Hoechst pieces and one can see the seams where the different parts were connected which is unusual for most porcelain makers. They had issues for sure which is likely why no real production ever started! Still a superb and must have figurine! He is just under 6 inches tall and very heavy. Appears to be made of solid porcelain except for the tree stump! Marked underneath with blue wheel mark that is very faint as well as the model number 54. He is in superb condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
