Davenport Cup & Saucer

This is a colorful Davenport trio, consisting of two cups and a saucer, made circa 1820. A rare survivor from the period when Davenport was establishing itself as a major manufacturer of ceramics in England. In near-perfect condition, with the Davenport mark impressed on the reverse of the saucer. Bright and attractive. This is a piece owned by a good friend of mine.
