Delft Blue & White Tile

This is a fun blue and white earthenware tile made in the Delft area of the Netherlands in the 18th century. The tile is hand painted with a blue monochrome scene including a building with a view ot the sea with some ships in the distance. Typical design to each corner. The tile is about 5 inches square and 5/16 inches thick. It has definitely been used and still has some grout attached to it, it has some chips and crazing and some scratches but it does have a very nice hard to find scene on it that easily makes up for that. I really like this piece! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
