Dutch Delftware Vase

This is a nice early example of a Dutch Delft vase probably made in the early 18th century or possibly late 17th century. Copied from Chinese porcelain sleeve shaped vase known as Rolwagen in the Netherlands. It has a cylindrical shape to it with a small opening. The vase is decorated with a light blue glaze on which a superb blue pattern was painted including birds, a peany flower or tree as well as a bug / butterfly and another flower to the back. The design goes all around and looks great from all sides! The vase has a flat unglazed base and since there is no mark or it has worn off it is difficult to determine and exact maker. Definitely a quality example! The piece is in really nice condition with some cracks along the top and a few minor glaze chips plus some scratches to the body but for its age as nice as they come! Looks great and displays superbly! These early hand painted Delftware / tin glazed earthenware pieces are not easy to find at all. The piece is unmarked which isn't uncommon. Maybe someone out there knows more about the piece and can send me a note. I would certainly appreciate it! The vase is 8.25 inches tall with a diameter of 3 inches.
