Derby Stefan Nowacki Ship Scene Cup & Saucer

This is a really nice cup and saucer made by Lynton or Derby factory in the Derbyshire area of England in the 1980s. I could not find much about this maker but sadly they are not around anymore. The mark on the saucer of this set I have not seen before and am not sure if it is a Lynton mark or from the time he worked at Derby. The painter Stefan Nowacki, who painted this cup here was originally a painter at Derby but then left and started Lynton. He made some really awesome pieces but they are fairly rare now in the Derby style. This piece here is one of those highly sought after shipping scene design cups. There is a merchantile schooner is sailing in rough seas with another ship in the background. Some fancy gilding surrounds the scene some of which is raised as well as some raised white enamel "jewels". the rest of the cup has a yellow ground color design with lots of gold trim to it as well as more raised white "jewels". The saucer matches that same design. Gilded handle to the cup. The set is in perfect condition. The scene is signed in purple on the bottom part as shown by Stefan Nowacki. Both pieces are marked with his gold script initials / monogram as well as the letters SDCA in a monogram and Fine English Bone China Derby under that. Not a mark I have seen before. The saucer is 0.5 inches tall and just over 5.25 inches in diameter. The cup is 2.375 inches tall and 2.625 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
