Doccia Tin Glazed Dish w/ Church View

This is a really nice scenic serving platter / oval plate made by Doccia / Ginori in about 1770. The dish is hand painted with a superb scene in the scene of I belive to be the Church of Saints Michele and Gaetano in Florence , Italy. Nicely done in polychrome in the form of a view of the plaza around it with the church being the main focal point. The scene is surroudned by a gold band. The edge of the plate has a blue ring around it with a gold ring to its edge towards the well and a gold band to the edge. The plate is very typical for Doccia around this time period. Scenic pieces are fairly ahrd to find! The plate is covered with their tin glaze which they used around this period to hide the fact that their porcelain wasn't as white as they wanted it to be. The piece is in superb original condition with a few normal manufacturing impurities, etc. but no chips, restorations or other later issues except for a small scatch to the blue trim that is difficult to see. It is not marked underneath but that is normal. The platter is 1.15 inch tall, 11 inches wide and 8.25 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
