Richard Klemm 6 Bird of Paradise Plates

This is a rare (even though I now have 18 of them :) set of six plates made by Richard Klemm between 1888 and 1916. They are handpainted with a scene including birds of paradise in a landscape surrounding as well as insects like bugs and butterflies and a nice gold trim. A very decorative design and quite colorful! The plates are all in great condition with almost no wear and two of the plates have a covered up paint flake to the scene. The plates are 1.125 inches tall and 8.5 inches in diameter. They are marked underneath with the RK under a crown mark with the word Dresden underneath as shown. There is also a gold mark hiding another mark of the manufacturer of the blank plates underneath since Klemm only decorated porcelain they did not produce the blancs. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
