Botanical Plates

This is a pair of early Victorian botanical plates c. 1835. Many factories in England made this kind of plate: Charles Bourne, Coalport, Anstice, Horton & Rose, Davenport , Ridgway, etc. Whoever created this pair should take a bow! They would make a standout display for a room. Splendid colors, from the deep cobalt blue and gilt of the borders to the vibrant renderings of the flowers in the center. About 9.5 inches in diameter.
