Botanical Plates

This is a pair of early Victorian botanical plates c. 1835. Many factories in England made this kind of plate: Charles Bourne, Coalport, Anstice, Horton & Rose, Davenport , Ridgway, etc. Whoever created this pair should take a bow! They would make a standout display for a room. Splendid colors, from the deep cobalt blue and gilt of the borders to the vibrant renderings of the flowers in the center. About 9.5 inches in diameter. Excellent condition in every way. This is a pair owned by a good friend of mine. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $325
