Admiral John Jervis Bust

This is a blanc de chine figural bust of Admiral John Jervis made in the early 19th century in England. Definitely an English piece but I am unsure of the exact maker. Not quite a parian porcelain piece but I would still categorize it as such even with a very thing glaze to the porcelain. John Jervis, 1st Earl of St Vincent (January 1735 – March 1823) was a Royal Navy officer and politician. He was active during the Amrican War of Independence. The piece is very well modeled with lots of details to it and of a nize size to display. The figurine is in great condition with some chips to the bottom edge of the base as shown. Nothing terrible and it displays nicely. The piece is unmarked which is very common on English porcelain of this period and makes it a pain to figure out who made him. Maybe someone out there that knows English porcelain better than me has a clue. I'd appreciate a quick note. The bust including the base is 7.25 inches tall, 4.25 inches wide and 3.125 inches deep (the diameter of the base). Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $349
