Scenic Set

This is a nice dessert (I think) set made around 1830 in England but I am not sure as to the exact maker. Might have also been made in France for the English market I guess. The set is handpainted with nice scenes consisting of a mix of either ruins, windmills, boats, or plain landscapes. The trim is in gold in a style called Vermicelli I believe. A very decorative and elegant combination! It is made up of 32 pieces - 2 serving plates with handles that aren't true handles (see pics!), 2 serving platters, 8 cups, 8 saucers and 12 small plates. The larger serving platter has a small chip on its rim that is of little importance, one plate has a hairline and one cup has staining to the inside. Otherwise the set is in superb condition with almost zero wear and just some fine clean crazing here and there. As to the size of the pieces - the handled plates are 1 inch tall, 9.625 inches wide and 9.25 inches deep. The smaller serving platter is 1 inches tall, 10.625 inches wide and 8.875 inches deep. The larger serving platter is 1.25 inches tall, 13.125 inches wide and 10.5 inches deep. The plates are 0.875 inches tall and 7.875 inches in diameter. The saucers are a bit over 1.25 inches tall and 6.25 inches in diameter. And the cups are 3.375 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter. The set is completely unmarked which doesn't exactly make it easy to ID a maker. Maybe someone else knows and could send me an email - it would certainly be appreciated! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
