Bird Scene Saucer

This is a superb saucer made by Frankenthal in about 1766 during the Adam Bergdoll period that lasted from 1762 until 1770 I believe. It is handpainted with a great bird scene with two birds in some greenery in the center, a few small flowers and leaves on the rim with a basketweave design to the rim as well as a gold trim to the edge. Really very nice! The saucer is in great condition with wear to the gold trim and a very small rim chip that looks to have been caused by a firing flaw but it does not take away from the piece at all! The saucer is marked with the CT under a crown as well as AB in blue, incised H2 and a black 70. The piece is 1.125 inches tall and 5.375 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.
