Chamois Scene Cup & Saucer

This is a superb cup and saucer made by Frankenthal in the 18th century. Each piece is hand painted with a really nice scene including a chamois in a landscape surrounding on the saucer and some sort of deer in a landscape surrounding on the cup. Each scene has a nice gold trim to the udnerside with a few flowers scattered around the rest of the pieces. Gold trim to the edges and handle. The set is in great condition with a touch of gold wear to the trim udner the scene on the saucer and a tiny! gilded over chip to the edge of the saucer. Impossible to find unless you look for it. They display perfectly. The cup is just under 2 inches tall and 2.875 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. Each is marked with the under glaze blue CT monogram under a crown as well as a blue number and what looks to be a gilder's or other artist mark as well as the usual incised marks as shown.
