Early Animal Scene Saucer

This is a superb saucer made by Frankenthal in about 1760. It is hand painted with a very nice scene in the center of two sheep by a fountain with a ruin in the back and a barely alive tree and some greenery. Superb scroll design underneatht he scene and to the sides with some scattered flowers around. Gold trim to the edge. The quality of the painting is top notch and it is a very early piece for them! The saucer with a tiny bit of the blue paint having flaked off but it displays perfectly. The piece is marked with the under glaze blue lion mark, the monogram for Joseph Adam Hannong in blue as well as an incised iHl or something along those lines underneath the saucer. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.
