Original Designs on Paper #2

This is what I believe to be an original template on paper that the porcelain painters did in watercolors before actually painting these on porcelain. It would date to the 18th century according to the painting style and the mark in the lower left hand corner but I am no expert on paper. It is a Frankenthal example and marked as such which is an added bonus. The piece is really nice because of the combination of flower paintings as well as a large birds in a landscape scene. The backside has a pencil trellise type drawing to it. I bought these from a lady that collected these designs and had quite a few of them but other than that I have almost never seen these outside of museums. The paper is 7.125 inches tall and 9 inches wide. It is in good condition with a bit of staining one would expect on old paper. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
