Floral Bowl

This is a deep plate or bowl made by Frankenthal in about 1766 during the Adam Bergdoll period. It has a basketweave relief pattern to the rim and a handpainted large floral arrangement plus many smaller flowers throughout. Brown trim to the rim. The plate is marked with the CT mark under the crown in underglaze blue as well as AB in underglaze blue. Also incised B1 and an overglaze black G. The plate is 1.625 inches tall and just under 9.25 inches in diameter and in great condition. A bit of wear to the rim and one spot of enamel flaking to the middle of the rose. One spot on the rim has a mini chip which looks just like the wear in some of the other spots and is not distracting. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
