Indian Flowers Cup

This is a cute cup made by Frankenthal in the 18th century around 1770. Definitely an early peices using this mark by the looks of things. The cup is hand painted with a version of the indian flowers design. A large floral motif to the front and some smaller single flowers and leaves to the back.Interesting handle shape I have not seen before painted in pink. remnants of gold trim to the top edge that is almost entirely gone. The piece is marked with the CT mark under the crown in underglaze blue as well as an incised H2. It is 2.625 inches tall and has a diameter of 2.75 inches. It is in good condition with the already mentioned wear to the gold edge and a hairline through the bottom handle terminal. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
