Hurdy Gurdy Player Figurine

This is a figure of a lady musician playing the hurdy gurdy made by Frankenthal in the 18th century. The figurine superbly modeled and painted in the typical Frankenthal fashion of the period. She must be part of the same set that the flutist I also have on the site is from which is really nice. She is superbly modeled wearing a nice dress with some tiny bows on it and holding that huge instrument in front of her. Must have been a strong lady! The figure is just under 5.25 inches tall, 2.75 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. The figure is marked with the CT under the crown in under glaze blue underneath with some sort of incised letters or numbers which are hard to make out as shown. Last one appears to be a 2. The figurine is in great condition with some expected minor damage - the handle of the insturment she is holding is missing a piece between the instrument and her hand as shown, very small chip to other end of insrument and a small firing crack partially filled during production to the base edge as shown. She displays perfectly and looks superb! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
