Lion Mark Sheep Scene Saucer

This is a superb saucer made by Frankenthal in about 1759. It is hand painted with a very nice scene in the center of two sheep in a landscape surrounding with a building behind them and a tree to the side. The underside of the scene has a gold trim going up the sides and some flowers as well. Simple gold trim to the edge. The quality of the painting is top notch and it is a very early piece for them! The saucer is in great condition with a bit of wear to the gilding. The piece is marked with the under glaze blue lion mark as well as an incised 5K as shown underneath the saucer. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.
