Cherub in Carriage Saucer

This is a great saucer made in France in the late 18th century. It is handpainted with a superb scene in the center that reminds me of some children's story though I cannot recall its name. There is a cherub sitting in a carriage that is pulled by two birds in a landscape surrounding. The cherub is holding a torch in his left hand. A real fun piece with gold trim to the edge. Sadly the saucer has no mark on the underside to determine the exact maker but it is a good quality piece for sure and definitely French. The dish is in superb condition with the slightest bit of wear but about as perfect as one could hope for! The saucer is 1 inch tall and 5 inches in diameter.
