Enamel Portrait

This is a superb enamelled portrait painting (on copper I believe) done in France around 1878. The picture is of a dressed up lady wearing a fancy blouse , a nice necklace and some leaves in her hair. Amazingly detailed. The gold metal frame around the miniature is nicely edged and very elegant. Not sure what metal it was made out of. The picture is in great condition with a sliver off the top that is not really obvious when looked at as most is under the frame. It is signed on the left side Mathiew Deroche who was a famous enameller in Paris around 1878. I have seen pieces of his with the stamp Emaux Mathiew Deroche Rd des Capucines 39 Paris Medaille d'or 1878. The whole piece is 2 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
