Pedestal for Reticulated Basket #1

This is a pedestal base made in France in the mid 19th century. It has a simple shape to it with some nice gold highlights. Could be used for a reticulated basket, a plate, or possibly even a vase. The piece is 3.875 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter at the bottom. The top outer diameter is a tiny bit over 4 inches. Unmarked but definitely French from this period. It does come with the old metal hardware to hold the new plate or basket in place. That is a bit rusted. The porcelain is in great condition and the gilding is great. Some minor age related marks but no damage or obvious wear spots. I have a second piece if anyone is interested in a hard to find pair. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
