French Chinoiserie Scene Bowl

This is a fun large bowl / serving dish made in France either in the Paris or Limoges region. Not sure on age but it is not super old. Maybe early 20th century!? The bowl is superbly hand painted with a Chinoiserie scene covering the entire piece. Really nice and colorful and having so much of the dish painted looks amazing! In the center there is a lady holding a tray with a pot on top with a gentleman next to her holding something in his hands. Not sure what. Above them are two birds while two flowering chrysanthemum bushes are growing out of the dirt below with some smaller flowering plants and large leafy plants filling in the rest of the space. Thin orange trim line to the edge. A very cheerful design. In terms of quality of the painting it is no 18th century quality but it is pretty good nontheless. The plate is in superb conditionwithout any restorations or chips. As nice as they come! The bowl is not marked so that is of no help at all :( It is 1.75 inches tall and 10 inches in diameter so of a nice size. The porcelain is fairly thick and heavy.  Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
