Medici Lion Figurine

This is a porcelain figurine most likely made in France or possibly in Italy in the 19th century. It is of a male lion with a sphere or ball under its front left paw standing on a base reminiscent of what today is known as the Medici lion. The lion is mostly unglazed porcelain while the ball and base are fully glazed. It is nicely modeled with good detail! I really like the figure! The piece is in great condition without any issues. Couple minor firing flaws and the base is not quite flat when sitting on a table but as nice as they come. Ther eis a tiny air hole in the center of the top of the base which is unusual as they would normally be found on the underside. The underside of the base is unmarked which mean figuring out the maker will be really difficult but it is certainly French or Italian from the 19th century. The figurine is 4.25 inches tall, 3.625 inches wide and 5.25 inches long. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
