Named Scenic Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer made by one of the Paris makers around 1800. The set is superbly decorated with a hand painted scene with their name underneath them. One of the views I cannot make out the other read vue d'Istrie which could be view of Istria - a Peninsula in Europe but not sure. They are of a very nice quality! The rest of the peices has a superb gold trim to them that makes this a very elegant cup and saucer. The set is in good condition with a little wear to the gilding - mainly on the edges and the handle of the cup has had a piece broken out and repaired. Could be done better but it does display perfectly! The set is unmarked which is common for Paris makers around that time. The cup is 2.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.125 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
