Bordeaux Cup & Saucer

This is a really nice cup and saucer almost certainly made in Bordaux , France in the 18th century. Definitely French and with the trype of design and handle shape I am pretty certain it was made by them. Pierre Verneuilh founded the factory in the later 18th century. The set is hand painted with a fancy design including different color scrolls a panel with a rose with black ground around it and some flower garlands. Quite fancy and very nice looking! Gold trim to the edges and some gilding to the handle. The cup and saucer is in great condition with just some wear to the gilding around edges and some use wear around the edge of the well of the saucer. Black firing spot to the inside of the cup. They display nicely! The cup is just over 2.375 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall with a diameter of 5 inches. The set is unmarked which is not unusual.
