Pair of Faience Vases

This is a really nice pair of faience vases made in France in the late 19th century. I don't know much about these wares but this pair was quite decorative that I decided to buy them. Each vase has a nice shape to it with a reticulated area to the top of the main body and a ram's or goat's head as a handle to either side. They each ahve a hand painted floral arrangement to the front and a different one to the back as well as a smaller flower / leaf around the part above the reticulated section and the foot. Bit of a trim around the edges. A very attractive pair of vases that would look great on a mantle or such. Both are in nice condition with a couple of the tips of their horn's having had work done to it and one or two glaze chips which are quite typical for these types of wares, Neither is marked which does not help much but they are of a nice quality. Each vase is about 7.625 inches tall, 6 inches wide including the handles and 4 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
