Putto with Dove Figurine

This is a figurine likely made in France around 1800. No idea as to an exact maker sadly and no idea what exactly these signify. I have three different ones that belong together. This one is of a male putto that is holding a dove or some kind of bird by a floral string in his right hand. Simple base is also decorated with a flower. The piece is unmarked which is not uncommon on items from this period. He is in good display condition with a restoration. It looks to be just the right arm and maybe the doves tail but the overspray covers the arm and parts of the front and head. Whoever did this had bad aim or tried to hide the restoration a bit much :) Also his left foot was restored. The figurine is 5.25 inches tall, 2.75 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
