Sailboat Dish

This is a great little dish (likely a saucer) handpainted with a sailboat scene in the center. The porcelain blank is definitely of French origin though the decoration is more likely German or a Frenchman writing in German. Probably for a Captain or high ranking shipmate on this ship. The center scene is really well painted with the large sailing boat in the middle the waves below and the sky above just like it should be :) The flag appears to be Danish or maybe Swiss. Nice gold ring around the scene and around the rim. Zum Andenken Heinz Wilh. (Wilhelm) Krueger 1854 written on the rim. A little momento to remember the times for this guy. The dish is in superb condition with just some wear to the gilding. The piece is marked underneath with an incised t. It is 1.375 inches tall and 6.375 inches in diameter.
