French Style Cup & Saucer

This is a French style coffee cup and saucer decorated with sprigs. Inspired originally by designs from the Sevres factory, this type of decoration was a mainstay of English design, and numerous factories made variations of it. This is a porcelain set, possibly Derby , and dates to around 1790. It is in superb condition, quite translucent. The saucer is 5 and 1/2 inches in diameter.
